Company

Our company was founded by the master metal worker Klaus Medoch on 1st March 1977. Due to his expertise and commitment, it wasn’t long before his small locksmith shop developed into a successful company that boasted a steady economic and innovative development. It all started off with locksmith and metal work services for customers in the former GDR.  Since German reunification in 1990 Metalbau Medoch has been able to expand its range of products even moving into the areas of automatic doors and fire protection in which the company is now a specialises.

We now co-operate closely with companies such as Dorma, Heroal, Geze and Schüco and are not only authorised to produce, but also to install, to commission and to maintain the products of these companies. We are certified according to DIN ISO 9001 and are a member of the quality-surveillance-association Fire-Resistant Doors, Lower-Saxony/Bremen/Saxony-Anhalt e.V. as well as a member of the European Welding Specialist, not to mention being TÜV certified since 2004. Furthermore we have been certified by the certification body of the GfBU-Zert GmbH and have thereupon introduced and implement a management system of health and safety for our employees, also certified according to DIN ISO 45001.

With a team of 35 employees, as well as an annual turnover of approximately 8 million Euros, we believe in a promising future. And with our 4 trainees, we believe in training and preparing the youth of today for their future. We train office clerks and metal workers in design engineering and organise further schooling for employees in such companies as Schüco, GEZE, Kötter+Siefker and Dorma and in further educational organisations such as the Chamber of Trade, Magdeburg.

Having satisfied customers was always an incentive for us in the past and this will also be our commitment for the future. The continuous investment in the application of state-of-the-art technology depicts a development that is essential in uniting our operative the economic goals. It is our ultimate ambition for the future to also sustain the supply of high quality products that have earned the titles “Made in Germany” and “Made by Medoch”.
